Originally uploaded by aliciamalia. This is right outside of our hotel, the Royal Lahaina Resort, which was a few miles up the road from Lahaina. Despite being a bit of a "factory" for tourists, the hotel was comfortable, clean, and fairly quiet, and it's hard to complain about the beach access. Adam and I brought beers down to the beach our second night and just watched the ocean--we had the entire beach to ourselves.
